Note: The North Independence Branch 24 Hwy. location will be closed for renovations from November 2009 through late Fall 2010. The branch has been relocated to a temporary location at the corner of Maple and Woodland at the back of the Independence Regional Health Center campus.

From I-70, exit at Noland Road and turn north. Follow Noland Road to Truman Road. Turn left. Continue west on Truman Road to Woodland. Turn left. If coming from I-435, use the "Highway 12 / 12th Street / Truman Road" exit. Turn east on Truman Road and follow it to Woodland. Turn right on Woodland. The library is at the back of the Independence Regional Health Center campus on Woodland between Truman Road and Maple. Handicapped parking can be accessed from Maple Street.
